About this category
This award recognises a technology business that has grown rapidly in revenue, customers or headcount while keeping quality, culture and finances under control. Judges look for growth and the systems that made it sustainable.
Eligibility
Open to UK technology businesses with at least 20 per cent annual growth in revenue or headcount over the last two years.

Qualitative criteria
Growth that the product and the team could keep up with.

Additional criteria
Entries should include a concise case study, supporting figures such as users, uptime, performance, revenue or time saved, and, where possible, feedback from customers or users. Commercially sensitive figures can be given as ranges or percentages, and nothing in an entry is shared beyond the judging panel. Never include credentials, security vulnerabilities that are not yet fixed, or personal data about users. Judges consider the size and stage of the business, so a start up competes on equal terms with an established technology company.
